I graduated from Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine and completed my Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care training at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Türkiye. During my residency, my research focused on regional anaesthesia, difficult airway management in paediatric patients, and obstetric anaesthesia.
I gained international experience as an observer at Cambridge University Addenbrooke’s Hospital — in the John Farman Intensive Care Unit, NCCU, and operating theatres — which deepened my interest in global anaesthesia education and brought me closer to the UK clinical environment. I am currently working at Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Essex, UK.
My clinical interests centre on regional anaesthesia, perioperative pain management, difficult airway management, and patient safety. I am actively involved in clinical research and have published in peer-reviewed journals.
DBeyond clinical practice, I have a genuine interest in the application of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in healthcare — exploring how these tools can improve patient outcomes, streamline clinical workflows, and make medical education more accessible worldwide.
I hold the EDAIC — the European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care — alongside certifications in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Healthcare Services Management. I serve on the NYSORA Education Board and am an ESAIC Patient Safety Ambassador. Within TARD, I am a member of both the Patient Safety and Airway Management Scientific Committees.
