Dr. Osman Kaya graduated from Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine and completed his Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care training at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Türkiye. During his residency, he conducted studies on regional anaesthesia, difficult airway management in paediatric patients, and obstetric anaesthesia.

He gained further international experience as an observer in the John Farman Intensive Care Unit, NCCU and operating theatres at Cambridge University Addenbrooke's Hospital, United Kingdom, where he later developed an interest in global anaesthesia education and began exploring this field. His professional interests include perioperative medicine, patient safety in the operating room, paediatric anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia, difficult airway management, anaesthesia residency training, and pain management. He is actively engaged in clinical research projects.

In addition to his medical expertise, he explores the application of computer technologies and artificial intelligence in healthcare, seeking innovative solutions to enhance medical practice. He values effective teamwork and communication in clinical settings.

Dr. Kaya holds the EDAIC diploma, recognised as the European Board of Anaesthesiology, along with certifications in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Healthcare Services Management.

He is a NYSORA Educational Board Member and an active member of the Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation (TARD), the Turkish Society of Intensive Care (TYBD), European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC), European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy (ESRA), and the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA).

Fluent in English at a professional level, he is currently working at Southend University Hospital, Essex, UK.
